About

Cutters Point Coffee Co.

Our Mission

Cutters Point's goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of our guests. From staff, to service, to product, we aim for the highest standards. Integrity, honesty, and the grace of God are the backbones upon which Cutters Point operates in all areas of business.

What's in the name?

Our name-related moment happened in 1792, when explorers Peter Puget and Joseph Whidbey departed in two small cutter boats with orders to sail south and chart the local waterways of the Puget Sound. Shortly after beginning their voyage, the team landed their cutters at what is now known as Point Fosdick. It is where they had their first meal and we'd like to think it included at least one cup of coffee!

Our Story

The journey began in 1995 when we purchased Austin Chase Coffee, a small espresso bar in Gig Harbor, Washington. In 2001, we expanded into our own roasting facility and rebranded to Cutters Point Coffee.  From day one, we’ve offered a premium cup of artisan-roasted coffee in a warm, community-focused atmosphere. And we always will.
